By April 11, 2019 marked the launch of the Durham Women’s Network with a successful networking event held at The Brock House in Whitby.
The network is a space for women to connect, collaborate and support one another, and is the collaborative effort between myself and my one of own mentors, Kerri King.
Networking events will be held quarterly and will be hosted at various locations in Durham Region. Each event will provide an opportunity for community leaders to share their experiences of leadership with the group.
A huge thank you to Whitby MP Celina Caeser-Chavannes, who brought opening remarks to launch the networking group. More than 30 women attended from various professional industries across Durham Region.
